Hi!

I've printed out .dds files containing some interesting documents that I would rather have in hard copy on my side than to block the whole screen with them while I'm observing potential targets or just plotting the course.

Much of these documents looks fine and can be considered readable when printed out but I wanted to know if there is an option for someone to upload or to direct us to a download address for higher resolution documents (native designers files) that are used in Wolves of Steel mod (like AOB reference, speed tables etc.)? Documents are obviosely prepared to look good on screen.

They are designed very nice and I really like them as they are, just wanted see if there is something that looks better than the current ones when printed out on a paper (like English warships document).

Thanks!

Hi THEBERBSTER! I've used this folder too, however images varies in terms of quality and resolution so there are images like British_Navy.dds which is barely readable even on screen and having something like that like a poster beside me while I play would be a great thing if only an image was bigger and better in quality. Document with flags is one of the examples of higher quality images.

What programs do you use to open .dds files (I have DXTBmp)? Do you export it or save it as a different format? If so, what's the best format to save it as?

Hi IcyWaters!

If you want to avoid Nvidia dds plugin for Photoshop, the easiest way is to install Paint.net. It works with .dds files right away, out of the box. If you want to print them out or to have better manipulation with the sizes, margins etc. I would suggest to save it as 24bit bitmap or JPEG and then work with some other program because as far as I saw, Paint.net doesn't have user friendly print preview like other programs.
