View Full Version : They will not be allowed to drive in New Jersey
Maybe there's a reason behind this upcoming law

It's about time, they drive way too slow, constantly make sudden lane changes, never use a turn signal. Then they suddenly speed up.:har:

The statistics for fatalities among this particular group are extremely low.:O:

I think I'm detecting a bit of prejudice here, judging them by who they are and not what they do. You don't see any of "them" breaking laws all the time. In fact I would say they're safer drivers that most of you...I mean us.
This them and us should not stand!
This is the slippery slope towards hatred towards the vitally disabled, I will probably get called out as being PC here, but I agree with Reg Shoe;
'Inside every living person is a dead person waiting to get out.'

I read somewhere that it costs the state something like 15 grand to process a bill into law. And they wonder why people think they are taxed too much... :nope:

Drivers licenses and other documents may no longer be issued to dead people
So there's still a chance the dead will be allowed to drive?
Good.

You're better of dead, well before they pass this law that is. :nope:
I don't mind dying but I would like to keep on rollin.
on a more serious note, I guess some politicians have way but way to much free time on their hands when they come up with these kind of laws that serves no one really.

Where I live drivers licenses are not issued automatically. You have to apply in person, fill out a form and get your photo taken. Has to be done every three years. And it cost $90.00.
If the dead can accomplish those conditions...give them a license.:D

It would go a long way if they stopped hiring the dead to work in the DMV.:yep:

Same in Delaware. If you can't show up for a photo ..."No license for you!" But that's every 8 years.

No.
Context is everything. "May not" is not the same as "might not", though it is sometimes used that way by people who don't know better. If a rule says someone "may not" do something, it means they are not allowed to do that.

Well, it just goes to show I didn't know any better, but I now feel suitable re-educated! :D

If they can't drive, how are they supposed to get to the polls to vote? Or is that what this is really all about? :hmm2:

You can also walk into a DMV with someone elses Birth Certificate, and Social, and get a legal ID under that name. They could have made the law a little less moronic, but hey, thats is what is in our state, moron politicians with more money than sense.
It is stupidity and common sense, but with how useless these politicians are, and how freaking over taxed we are (look up the stats) , they need to act like they are doing something, while they rip the money out of our pockets more than any other state in the Union.
You know NJ has 21 prisons, not counting satellite camps, Highest property taxes in the nation, and still rising, we just had a shooting the next town over from me, where cops watched a Neptune Township cop, chase his wife in a car, shoot her multiple times through the car door, then walk up to the windshield, with his gun raised and did nothing while he finished her off.
Hey it's NJ!!:rotfl2:
Dead people cannot drive, but the police get free reign.

Betonov you have no idea.
We have a road called the NJ Parkway, just called the parkway by locals. It is kind of like the Autobahn I guess you can call it, a high speed expressway From North to South.
The posted speed is 65 MPH, but the normal flow of traffic is 80 MPH. The road was supposed to be toll free years ago, but our politicians keep stealing the money, so the tolls go up... They have cameras at the toll plazas, and I make it a point to give the finger as I pull in.
I remember when I was (staying with the flow of traffic mind you) and going 95 MPH and a state trooper blows by me at 100 plus, we made eye contact, I was horrified, he just kept going, I was relieved. (30 mph over the limit is a huge kick in the backside, you get points, fines court dates, it's a mess)
Take it from a Jersey boy, we are screwed up.But I would live no place else. NJ accepts people like me :D

Pfff, every road in Slovenia is like that :O:
If you drive on the speed limit the cops are going to pull you over thinking you're drunk
