The museum where my daughter worked while attending college in Oregon is in tax related financial straits hence the sale of assets. http://www.aero-news.net/index.cfm?do=main.textpost&id=37e13631-b4b4-4369-9076-359812685ec8 (http://www.aero-news.net/index.cfm?do=main.textpost&id=37e13631-b4b4-4369-9076-359812685ec8) Fortunately the Hughes Spruce Goose is not on the block as well.
They keep selling planes off and they will have to change the name from Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum to Evergreen Water Park, which is what they seem to be promoting these days on their web site. You can not find a list of what planes and space stuff they have there anywhere on their web site. It seems like they lost sight of why they built the place in the first place.:nope:
P.S. Found this news article with later news, not all as bad as it seemed at the time it appears.
