Hopefully they can restore the building like they did to York Minster after the fire there in 1984.

Restoring old churches is easier done today than building a new one.
It's a disaster in cultural terms but the replica can be as good as the original.

They did a great job in York, and let's face it, if anyone can afford a repair of that scale it's the church. :yep:
