View Full Version : Selfies Really Are Hazardous To Your Health...If You're ISIL
We need there to be more bonehead ISIL members like this:
https://www.yahoo.com/tech/s/moron-terrorist-takes-selfie-front-isis-headquarters-air-104558006.html
Imagine if the guy who took the selfie survived; imagine explaining that one to your fellow ISIL thugs...
<O>
22 hours later !?
That gives any army or terror group lots of time to...

Ye.
to what?
Find a new headquarter, establish a air defense.

A bit moot; the ISIL guys didn't realize they had given away their position (hubris is a fatal flaw) and probably didn't know until after the missiles came screaming down on them...

I think I gave ISIL more credit than they deserved.
I guess it take that time to gather information from a single photo.

I think the biggest mistake in all this Markus, is that the military let it be known what they did! They just can't keep their big mouths shut, lol

Cops have been busting people for years on Facebook posts and bragging about it. Still numbnutz post just how stupid they are.
:nope:
Gives me a small bit of hope stupid will be cut back in the Human Gene Pool.

An air strike is kind of hard to conceal. :)

Yes, but they didn't know why they were hit. Now they know and perhaps will tell their fellow retards to not do that again thus providing less intel for the coalition. If the military had stayed quiet they would probably never figured out how they got found and had continued posting stuff on social media.
That reminds me of that congress man who told the papers that the Japanese have to set their depth charges deeper....:/\\!!
Not the first time this has happened, so they know. Some just are a bit stupid. :O:
Maybe we could start marketing special selfie sticks for IS:

Another shining example of poetic justice.

Good point but maybe they decided to claim that as the reason they hit the building in order to protect the spy that really tipped them off to it's location. :hmmm:

Same thing happened when we bragged about geolocating AQ's sat phones.
Pride has no place in warfare. :nope:

In this case iI think it a wise choice to in any way attack ISIL main means of recrument social media. If they come to fear using it then it will actually harm them. If they feel unsafe using social media that's good then they are forced to become more clandestine which harms them unlike AQ.
