Question towards anyone who has updated to win 10 on their PC's, do you know if it will break your game and delete everything on the pc? like a factory reset type of deal?

You're fine. As long as it's not a spam ad to buy something links to helpful sites are always welcome.

Will windows 10 break my computer , should be the question .
I love my windows 8.1 mobile phone though , apart from the lack of app support .

I was talking to the IT guy where I work and he said to give Win 10 about 6 months before you even think about ungrading. He said let MS get some of the kinks out of it first.

Just a thought for those of you who may be contemplating going to Win 10 like I am. :D

:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up: Your IT colleague I feel has offered the best solution. We should at lest by then, know what we are up against.

After re-reading the original post, I'm not so sure he's worried about Windows 10 itself so much as the question of whether the act of overwriting the old OS with a new one will also overwrite the game and all our saved games.

I'm using windows 7 and all's fine. However, when update notified me of version 10, I read thru all the accompanying notes. Then I put myself on the waiting list.

Microsoft are very keen to get everyone using Windows 10. So keen that they are offering it for free, and have even placed a button to register for it on our taskbar. They don't do this to be nice...don't fall for it.

I'd stay with Windows 7 or 8, until we see where Windows 10 is trying to take us.
