Hi Guys. Trying to get back into SH4. Got a question. How do you use the after battery compartment? I have the TMO mod. Thanks.

Personally, I just keep 7 people in there for damage control.

When I'm taking damage (depth charge or attacking with deck gun for example), the deck watch go into after battery for safety and the other guys go to their damage control stations.

The only problem is TMO is one slot short to take the entire deck watch, so I had to mod an extra slot into my after battery.

Then, you would have room for your deck watch and your officers with special ability's. Right? Speaking of the DW, you only have to move the guys on watch when you submerge. Correct? Yes, I personally move some guys out when starting a patrol. The after battery doesn't actually do anything. You won't get extra points for having guys in there, so you might as well empty it out before you leave dock.

No, you have to move all three watches. Even if they are not on watch the game still things they are hanging out up there.
