Chancellor Merkel is now under direct attack from press and politics, some directly accuse her for treason. Seems the BND have warned the chancellery for years, of industrial espionage and violating german and international law. Not that the BND has not knowingly agreed to do just that, in a deal with the Five eyes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Eyes).
The german BND seem to have delivered one-sided information on economical and technical details, from all kinds of companies from Airbus to silicon chip production, partially in exchange for information, for a good part voluntarily, partially with "financial compensation".
It is the duty of the chancellery, to prevent harm from the german people, and survey the action of - at least - the german secret services. And it seems there is no control at all, in this "democracy".
The chancellery tries to get away with a statement of "no comment", and that they would provide the papers, "but unfortunately they are secret" :O:

"The spying scandal shows that the intelligence agencies have a life of their own and are uncontrollable"
Is this really a new insight? No one has learned from
Gladio and state terrorism (https://books.google.co.uk/books?hl=de&lr=&id=n0uRAgAAQBAJ&oi=fnd&pg=PP1&dq=Gladio+state+terrorism&ots=0gHwx5HcY3&sig=ZvnO0WFbNWAX0or7UGh9vDmTHCI#v=onepage&q=Gladio%20state%20terrorism&f=false)

Of course it will all go out like the Hornberger Schiessen, too much at stake. Imagine the dumb people get to know what governments and secret services are up to. Fighting terrorism, huh? :03:
One thing is new though. Now with industrial espionage of this magnitude, there's also a lot of money in it.. maybe this will trigger a reaction
