Mission: North Western Approach [HELP]

So I have sinked about 11 merchants along the North Western Approach mission, but I'm still just half way done.. Haven't got cred for 90% ships towards the main objective.

So, does anyone know how to patrol the approach so you can fill that mission bar up? I suspect that I am way out of the patrol zone since I'm not getting that bar filled up.

Troop transports, AMC's 17,000 tons (Rawalpindi) amongst others come and go out of Loch Ewe.

Patrolling an area above from the DD's should bring some results.

If you take a ruler from the middle of the Loch Ewe entrance and angle it to the left so it is close to the headland at the top , something like 11 o'clock this is a well used course.

If you position yourself in the middle of the ruler line and use the hydrophone you should be able to pick up anything in the area.

Alternatively record all of your tonnage to date from the Captain's Log and use my tutorial post #188.
