It is November 1940, a Norwegian large tanker is in a British convoy. Will I get a penalty when sinking it or will I get a reward? I am using gray wolf mod

I was almost tricked in sinking greek ship last time, after radio said they are to be treated hostile, and some posters here said it would not give penalty to sink. But on accident sinking one later, it counted as neutral and there is a penalty

So would I get penalty or not for sinking a conquered nations ship?

The entire Norwegian merchant marine pretty much went over to the Allies after Norway was conquered between April and May 1940. Being the fourth largest merchant fleet in the world made it quite an asset.

So, if it's November, fire away. They are not officially neutral anymore.

Are you using GWX? In the periscope views is a pull-down chart that shows every nation and when they are neutral and when they are enemy. That will tell you exactly what you need to know.

Not laughing at you, but at myself. I wish I had a dollar for every time I've done that.
