Hi everybody,

After playing SH3 for an extensive amount of time I've just started playing SH5 2 months ago as I felt in love with it's outstanding graphics.

But besides it's eye pleasing advantages I'm asking my self how realistic the simulation of SH5 actually is? I've started with VDRs Wolves of Steel Megamod (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=210703), and I wonder if "High Frequency Detection Finders" (aka HFDF; HuffDuff) and/or "Leigh-Lights" are implemented properly in the game? Or if there are any mods out there that add these additional features?

Thanks :D

Yes...HFDF and Leigh-Lights are implemented in mods that are included in "THe Wolves of Steel" megamod. The Allies can and will triangulate your position if you use your radio too much and Leigh-Lights are implemented in Open Horizons II, but come into effect later in the war.:yep:

Great thanks for the welcome & info. I was afraid already that SH5 would turn out as an ego-shooter :)
