The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby girl, a new princess who is fourth in line to the throne after the Prince of Wales, Prince William and Prince George.
Congratulations ma'am :sunny:

Time to place bets on the name.
I reckon the middle name will be Diana, first name...either Victoria or Ann, possibly Elizabeth though, that would be a nice touch. :yep:

I'd bet Victoria. If I had any money left.
Congratulations for the Commonwealth, here's hoping she has her mothers looks and her great-grandmothers common sense

I believe there is a name announcement due at 1600 GMT. I'm going for the inclusion of these three names: Victoria, Elizabeth and Diana.
Here in the States, the names being mentioned as front runners are Alice and Charlotte. Must be some Carroll and Bronte fans making the list...

One of them but there are many and the odds are all broadly similar.

They could always look back to 1141 AD and call her Matilda...:o
Her name has just been announced as Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
You mean they didn't pick Beyoncé or Kim?...

So when Charles takes the throne and William dies, George becomes prince of Wales, not Harry ??

They should've given her a proper British name, like Boudicca. Then they could raise her as a warrior who would take back the Empire for them.

Interesting. Chelsea Clinton gave birth to a baby Charlotte last September.
Given our nation's ever-increasing inclination toward political families, who knows? Maybe in 35 to 40 years, the Anglo-American world could be headed by dual Charlottes? :hmmm: Could this all be part of a vast, spidery conspiracy?

Nothing, didn't place a bet, only posted an example of bookies odds to depict the popular choices.
Believe me, if I'd placed a bet on my choices none of them would have come up :)
