Uplay Update 4/23/15

Anyone else getting an invalid win32 application error after todays 4/23/15 uplay patch?

Well that did not work as I am getting the win32 application error, meaning the Patch failed to finalize, I re-installed Uplay installer twice. It Patched Twice, second time it ran in the background for an hour and prompted me to close uplay to complete the update. win32 application error again. I was in the middle of a 9 hour download from UBI Shop so I could do a Clean Install of SHV so I'm P.O. right now and giving up. I am relying solely on uplay to do a fresh install even though I have SHV on an External Drive it has FPS problems when I atempt to use it so it stays were it is. Everything ran fine again this is an Update Patch by Ubisoft for Uplay mandatory and Automatic as of today. Here is my launcher log:

Hi Mikey

The automatic installation for the Game Launcher does not normally use Program Files Folder but should be in the Program Files (x86) Folder.

If you install the Game Launcher from here

You have the option to install it in any drive and in any folder.

In the Control Panel you will see that it changes from the normally installed Ubisoft to a Uplay Game Launcher.

If manually re-installing uninstall from the Control Panel as a corrupted install will still add parts of it

Delete the Ubisoft Folder in the Program Files Folder.

Run a registry cleaner to remove any remains and reboot the system.

As long as the Silent Hunter 5 game downloads ok.

The Game Launcher can always be sourced at any time from the recognised third party download link shown above (Ubisoft Sweden).

I uninstalled uplay, ran CCcleaner, cleaned out the registry entries, and deleted the uplay installer.exe. I downloaded uplay installer ( after four download failures ) and ran the program installed as suggested. This may work because the new installer is all ready patched based on the download size of 52.3mb v 44mb of the original installer. Fingers crossed that it won't crash 9 hours to download and get a clean install.
