Very interesting story. Hope it comes to SA. It will be released in Germany on the 9th April. What I also found interesting was the following comment:

"Last year, finally, German Chancellor Angela Merkel acknowledged Elser as a hero of anti-Nazi resistance, describing him as "one who struggled on his own… to try to prevent the war".

I don't know how I missed this thread.

This man's story crops up nowadays in the various documentaries made on the subject of whacking the Fuhrer (why did nobody make a "Whackafuhrer" game?) and I always think "What a great plot for a movie".

I do hope I get to see it sometime...
