This really made me laugh from a moron making out they are amazon. I got this email today..

The fact that you should find disturbing is that obviously these scams must be working on at least one attempt in four. Otherwise the person wouldn't be sending them.

Could be one attempt in 10.000 actually. You can use a random email address generator to create your recipients addresses and just keep sending until you get some addresses right by accident. I think one can flood whole domains like that with little effort. Then just wait if someone is dumb enough.

True even at that ratio it is sadly effective when you consider the number of email account holders.
