Advice please. I'm going to try RSRDC for the first time. In the past I always used TMO. Now after 5 years away I thought to try a different Megamod.
What I would like is,(having looked at the Downloads) some advice on which mods to use, in what order, with RSRDC.
Is there a big difference in those two mods TMO v RSRDC ?

Thank You for any and all advice. I'm really rusty now on SHIV :wah:

RSRDC is not really a supermod in the spirit of TMO. It mainly replaces the stock shipping traffic to be more historically accurate, with a few other tweaks. It even exists with add-on versions to supplement TMO and another for RFB, as well as a stand-alone mod.

OK So better to have RFB +RSDC ? what mods would enhance that please?
In what order.

It is not better to have RFB it is simply different. RSRD gives you historic traffic and battle sites that no other mod is goign to give you. It is not a mod that concerns the boat itself that much. That is what TMO and RFB is about. They govern aspect of your own boat and it workings. RSRD simply adds a layer of realistic traffic and shipping lanes that you will not find in other mods.

Whether you run TMO or RFB you should have RSRD right after them.

Read your documentation. What order they are in and associated patches should be in correct formation JSGME or your going to get crap for a game. you should also install these mods in a fresh game not in one that has already been adjusted by another mod.

Read documentation then read the documentation and after that read the documentation.

I would consider these:

Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157
[C:\Special Games\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\#MODS]

RFB_2.0 ............................................(Real Fleet Boat)
RFB_2.0_Patch_23April2010
RSRDC_RFB_V575 ......................(Run Silent Run Deep Campaign)
RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1
Fixed Zero Bomb Load RSRDC
Fixed_CD_sonar_RSRDC
Improved Ship Physics_2.15 .....................................(with Patch)
Nav Map Make-Over v2.1 no AB
NMMO v2.1 Patch 1 no AB
TDW_Ship_Plane_Fire_Damage_v1_3_SH4
Webster's Eliminate Floating Plankton
Webster's Better Mouse Arrow v1

RFB (Real Fleet Boat) aims to achieve the most realistic gameplay and changes many elements. RSRDC (Run Silent Run Deep Campaign) changes shipping traffic and missions to historical volume/pattern. Stock has excessive traffic and isn't well configured.

ISP makes the diving, turning, acceleration, battery performance, and sea-keeping of your boat more realistic.

If you use ISP, please read the documentation, and install the weather patch. There are things you need to know.
