I found a Japanese sub!... A weird one

hello, gents. I got pretty excited for finding a Japanese sub in my American campaign but I wasn't expecting to find one like this.
Is this how they're supposed to look like?

Hmmm. Looks like a Type IX U-Boat hull to me. Maybe a kit-bash of an existing model to play the part of a Japanese sub? And where's the conning tower? :hmmm:

The 1st one detected me because I was trying to engage it with my deck gun. But once I saw the rate of fire of their deck gun I made a quick dive, went a little closer and fired a torpedo.

The 2nd one I just destroyed it undetected with a torpedo as well.

I would scrap PE, use the env included in TMO that works with the sensors. You're missing the tower and I know it shows in TMO, so something is wrong.

IT is not that big besides the Japanese had the largest submarine of WW 2

It was the largest submarine up until the time of the 60's when the Ballistic Missile submarines were built.

The first and only time I ever got a "Tench" class sub, it looked just like this.

No Conning tower at all.

I'm guess'n that it's suppose to be a I-361 cargo sub. Least that's kind'a what it looks like. :hmmm:
