'Poo Bus' Set For Number 2 Passenger Service
Britain's first "poo bus", which runs entirely on gas generated by human and food waste, is to go into regular service later this month.
Powered by biomethane gas, the Bio-Bus will use waste from more than 32,000 households along its 15-mile route.

I wonder how many people will turn down the poo bus for the next non poo bus to turn up? :hmmm:

Wonder what it would be like for the poor soul standing next to the bus's exhaust as it accelerates away from the stop.

I should think you of all people would be highly offended, Steed. Don't you pay a tax for waste disposal? That means you are paying them to take your own by-product, rather than them paying you for it. Now you'll have to pay again to ride the bus.
They're getting you coming and going! :O:

Imagine showing up just to be told to go.

Considering that it's only been within the last couple of decades that the UK has introduced tanks underneath carriages to collect the byproducts of passengers visiting the toilet and up until this point (and in many cases past it since old stock is still running in quite a few places) the waste products were flushed out directly onto the track (hence why there are signs in the toilets asking you not to flush when in a station) then well...it could only be an advancement. :O:

Collecting the waste from Jim's house should keep the buses going for a year or three. Vindaloo gas works best.:yep::up:
