A storm on March 5 dumped just over 100.8 inches (or 8 feet, 4 inches) of snow there in 18 hours, reports the Italian weather website Meteoweb. The snowfall inundated the city and left some in the region without power and water.

Capracotta sits at an elevation of 4,662 feet in central Italy

More likely 8 feet of snow on high altitude on an early spring day.
Especially after the last cyclone.

I'm telling ya the only thing that was staving off the next ice age was the pollution we used to emit. Now that we've all (except the Chinese) gone green we've unshackled the Ice Beast. :yep:

Wise ass! :haha:

They said on the news the other day that we've been 10 degrees below the seasonal norm for over a month and a half. Global warming be kicking our butts!

There's a song from grammar school about the "world getting colder", https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEuOalGvLdg ...but there were too many smart ww2 generation left back then to try and sell them on spending tax money on it. :D

I always thought that rain was Englands normal weather. :) For the month that I was over there back in the spring of 83 I don't think I saw the sun one time.

This is football. The worm will turn Brother. It always does unless you're a Lions fan... :D

Besides you don't want to experience the kind of hate you get when your team wins back to back SB's.

You were lucky. I had sunshine in London last year and I was hoping for a nuclear detonation to cool things down :-?
