Multiplayer with mods question

Have some friends that have been wanting to play online, some of us run mods and some of us don't. Does everyone have to have the same mods to play together online?

Ive been actually wondering the same thing. I have a few friends that want to play multilayer together but in our case we all have the same mods (TWoS)

Rule of thumb is every one needs to have same mods installed and same maps. Any differences and the game could crash. The biggest problem with mp in sh5 is the fact that it will crash at any given time. I have played mp for 12 hours at a time and finished but have had games where you would be half into it, 4 or 5 hours or so and it would crash. That's the sad part of sh5 mp because hunting in wolf packs is one of the most amazing online gaming experiences one could ask for. High realism was where it was at.
