I am running the following mods:

I am stationed in Brest and it is November of 1942.

I enter port and they tell me that my coning tower has been upgraded to the Turmumbau II and I click ok. From that point on my sensor crew and anyone in the conn is gone and the conn is gone as well. From the crew stations anyway. If I go on deck it is still there. I can man the guns manually but not with a crew and the boat will not move forward nor aft.

I can go to all stations and do everything but I can not move and I can not have crews at the conn, nor at the guns.

I moved back to a previous save, waited longer and simply did refits for a month but again upon enter Brest I received the upgrade and the boat is non functional.

I transferred but the boat followed me there and is still non functional. Any clues ladies and gentlemen as to how I can resolve this please?

I have been racking up the tonnage and at the moment have over 59,000 renown.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, this seems to be an issue. This guy posted a work around, have not tried it myself, as I use VIIB's as I mentioned in the other thread, and since they do not get conning tower upgrades it isn't an issue with those boats.

But might be worth a go if you want to save this career.

I tried the fix but I think I did something wrong. I'll have to look deeper into it. I did not see any change it simply had me back before the upgrade and once the upgrade took place I was right back to where I started so I simply move my new campaign to 1943 and skipped it.
