Good day everyone,

Me inside the torpedo tube of B821 Foxtrot class submarine at this point I could have easily gone to sleep in there!
Well recently myself and my friend made a trip through Europe which included Belgium Luxembourg and France, this was a marathon in which we had to cover just under 900 miles in one day, plus a museum trip in the middle.
Needless to say it was incredible tiring but well worth it !
Our trip focused initially on a French submarine that was in Cherbourg however I did have an errand to run in Luxembourg (yes I know wrong direction).
The trip took us into Luxembourg nice country rather small and didn't stay long as it wasn't our destination, but we had a thought as we were not far from the port of Zeebrugge why don't we also include in this trip the Russian Foxtrot class submarine B821 which is located near the ferry terminals in Belgium, so we did just that.
I must say the B821 has seen better days the submarine was launched in 1960 and has been out of commission since 1995

Looking at her starboard side of her sail a little rough maybe

A view through the periscope this was the best shot I could take after spending 25 min's trying to get it right.
After touring the submarine and also the light ship west hinder we made haste for Cherbourg.
We arrived in Cherbourg at 2130 after being on the go for 22 hours needless to say we just ate then crashed into bed both of us were out as if we had just been depth charged to oblivion.
The next morning we arose from our pit's and went to cite de la mer to visit the main attraction the nuclear ballistic missile submarine Le Redoubtable the largest submarine on display in the world and also the only SSBN (SNLE) to ever be turned into a museum.
