Ahoy all,
Noob here and I don't even own the sim yet. Found a copy of SH4 Gold Edition on ebay for $12 and just bought it a few hours ago.
I understand the Gold Edition comes completely patched to v1.4 with no more bugs? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Are there any additional patches I should get to fix any issues in the sim?
Mods are another story, please don't fire those at me at this stage of my Noobness.

The Gold Edition is actually patched to 1.5, which means it contains the U-Boats add-on as well. It does still have bugs, but not nearly as many. A lot more of those will be taken care of by various mods. Those can be enquired about in the SH4 forum.
