March 11 1941
It had been 3 months now since the fall of the USSR and the failed D-Day attempt made by the allies into the Netherlands, Gestapo intelligence had predicted the allied invasion and the Fuhrer had wisely ordered fresh reinforcements to all ports in France and Netherlands, of course these troops were insufficient to successfully repeal the allied invasion and they were initially successful in liberating Netherlands, their actions were too little too late, their invasion taking place just two weeks after the USSR had capitulated meaning the port defenses were able to stall the allies long enough for the returning combat hardened veteran divisions of the east to meet the inexperienced, British, USA and Canadian troops that landed, they lasted no more then 3 - 4 weeks in Reich territory before being pushed right back into their beachhead forced to surrender after the kriegsmarine crushed their hope of being evacuated by their own navy.
It took no genius to know that the main British army had been destroyed in Netherlands, and the Americans would not be running back anytime soon, all that was needed was to land in the isle and England would be for the Reichs taking as the Reich now ad hundreds of well trained and veteran divisions.
This was possible due to the deal struck in secret between USSR Minister of Security Sergej Uritskiy backed by Zhukhov, Konev, and Vassilevskij the top USSR generals, and Field Marshal Rommel, Hitlers second hand and overall Head of the Combined Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Navy), in which it was agreed that half of the USSR would be annexed by the Reich and the other half would be a loyal puppet to the Reich, this was contrary to what Stalin had addressed his nation the day before he evacuated Moscow just before it fell to Wehrmacht troops, but his promise to keep the fight on until every Russian had spilled their blood would not be able to be fulfilled, one week after the fall of Moscow, Leningrad and Stalingrad, Stalin was being rushed to an airstrip for an immediate departure to Siberia, as he arrived he was greeted by Sergej Uritskiy who walked quickly with him towards the hanger, Sergej quickly updated him on the front to which Stalin was furious and quickly ordered to get every man, women and child to fight before backing another inch, as they entered the hanger and the door was closed be-hide them he stood still and quietly at the site before him,his face one of confusion and terror.
He quickly demanded Sergej for an explanation as to why the was a Luftwaffe Ju 52 Transport plane infront of him and an assembly of Gestapo and SS Officers and personnel, Sergej responded only with an order to the Russian guards, "arrest this maniac" he was quickly subdued and taken before the German officers who verified he was indeed Stalin, the whole ordeal being filmed, Stalin was quickly tried by some Russian Generals and Colonels present, found guilty for prolonging the suffering of the Russian people and was sentenced to the firing squad, he was shot 5 times in the chest and an SS officer made sure with a pistol shot to the head, he was he wrapped up, loaded into the plane and was headed to Berlin along with Sergej for the long talks on the new borders and accords that the new USSR was to have with Germany and the Third Reich.
This translated to, Germany not having to station huge amounts of divisions in the east to deal with possible revolts and with the 8 new garrison divisions formed to serve as the eastern occupation, this freed thousands of troops for redeployment elsewhere and allowed a swift victory over the D-Day invasion and smooth invasion of England which lasted less than a month.
To the south, the axis had enjoyed incredible success, despite Germany's plan to annex Greece to have access to ports in the Mediterranean sea, Italy had beaten Germany to it, this caused the fuhrer to angrily call Mussolini and berate him that without those ports Germany would be unable to lend assistance in Africa, as it turned out after initial set backs with the British, the Italians were able to drive the British out of north Africa entirely, conquering Egypt and the precocious suez cannel with it. By the time the USSR had fallen, Germany quickly conquered Gibraltar and with it, Facist Spain quickly joined the Axis, allowing a much easier invasion of Portugual.
All of Europe with the exception of Sweden and Norway were either puppets, Axis allies or annexed into the Reich. But war was still upon us, the Americans refuse peace and the British Gov. fled to Commonwealth countries in Asia which still posses a reduced naval capacity to be a headache, 3 months of celebrating a victory in the east had been enough, it was now time for a General meeting of all Armed Forces Chiefs to asses the next options
the Fuhrer requested the presence of all chiefs at the Reichstag on March 11 1941 to present each the current state of their department and their desired battle plan with the objective of: GERMAN ULTIMATE VICTORY.
