Help finding a particular mod?

I started playing SH IV and got used to the gun-sight that allowed a two level zoom.

My old eyes needed the boost, There's a reason they don't put 59 years olds on subs.

I'm now playing SH5 and can't find a mod that does a similar thing without adding in a LOT of other changes that make the game harder as well.

I don't really care for the laser pointer sighting.
Is there a mod like what I need? Restore a telescopic gun-sight so that I can drop the laser pointer?
Or is it even easier? Have I got one of TheDarkWraith's many options set wrong?

Also a couple niggling details with the ship recognition in this mod soup...

The recognition manual seems to have some GREAT filters but they don't seem to work for me.
I'd also like an easier way to select a nationality for a unrecognized freighter. Right now I'm staring at a freighter in Sept 39 in the Baltic with what appears to be three vertical stripes red on the outside and white in the middle. It COULD be a circular field in the middle but I'm not close enough yet to tell. Obviously that MIGHT be German flag but whatever is in the middle doesn't look like a swastika. A page showing nothing but flags would be super.

The optical sighting magnification is done by clicking the optical sight in the top left corner more than once.

Have a look in your Game Play Settings.

This may be included in the later TDW NewUI 7-4-2 and 7-5-0 or it could be in OHII

Have a look in the Chart Toggle Visibility Icon on the right side.

Click on an item in the top box.

And look in the bottom box for any choices and then click on the one you want to see.

You have to drag the item from the top left of the screen to see it.

When you have finished with it just push it back.

I actually read that when I first started but with the new UI I'd forgotten about those pesky details! :oops:
