So I created a new career (called my guy "Pauder Donitz") and went on several missions and sank a bunch of ships, etc. I just went to launch SH3 Commander to play again and it says that I received a communique stating that I was to be relocated to Kiel for training and that I must immediately relenquish the U-101 and that my career was over. What happened? Not sure why I can't keep playing in my career with my guy? I didn't sink anything I wasn't supposed to (as far as I know)? Any idea what might have happened? It looks like I can keep playing in the U-101 with a different commander, but I'm not sure why I can't keep playing with Powdered Donuts. :hmmm::/\\!!

SH3 Commander will retire you after a while.

I can't remember if there is an option in Commander that makes it do that or not. I believe you can click on the career and it will give you an option to continue with the career.

I've had a few careers retired through Commander. I just start a new one with a new crew and continue on.

I believe there is an option in SH3 Commander called 'realistic career length'. Just disable it.

In SH3 Commander uncheck "simulate a realistic career length" under career options. You will then be able to spend as long as you like as a kapitain.
