Having a difficult time getting started

A little help if possible, I re installed SH3 into a toshiba laptop with 8.1 im getting a couple problems. :-? So the game starts to load i get the loading bar up about 3/4 and I get a windows box 1281:timeout:.. then i get a second one ,1282SOS

After uninstalling did you use a Registry cleaner and then re-boot before trying to re-install?

What SH3 dvd have you got?

Is the dvd colour silver all over or silver and white?
