Is that legal, that old manager software, or is it "abandonware"? Note that abandonware legally is not "free to grab", its just that the original holder of rights probbaly doe snot care to enforce his rights anymore.

For the policy of this board and its owner, however, the issue is clear, Abandonware gets the same policy treatment like pirated stuff: it is not allowed on these boards.

Wait, I am no moderator, and not the board owner either, you must not at all apologize to me! :03: I also did not assume you intentionally wanted to place pirateware here - which I even told the moderator in the report message. Fact is most people do not know that "abandonware" does not mean "legalware", its a widespread misunderstanding.

Ahh, GPL. For me, one of the finest sims ever. I haven't driven it in a few years, but for many years I raced in various GPL leagues. No sim or game I've played over the years has required the same level of concentration or sparked in me as intense a desire to improve. Thousands and thousands of laps, all to shave a few tenths off the PB.

I used to use GPL Rank, and anyone that was in to GPL probably knows what that is. IIRC I was about a -44 at the time I stopped racing. My Ring PB was 8:04. I spent so much time lapping that track, that laptime is ingrained.

Just a fantastic sim, and along with Falcon 4 multiplayer, GPL leagues are my best memories in my simming career.
