The older ones here probably still remember the arcade games basing on the game "Gauntlet".
Radiangames has several nice and straight action shooters on offer, simple games to simply kill some time, usually basing on classics of the arcade. Amongst these, Inferno+ was definitely one of Radiangames' best, and most popular.
This post is just a heads-up on the release of Inferno 2. It is an drastic improvement over the first game, both in challenge and size. It has twice as many levels (80 instead of 40), and features several new features in the arena design, and more complex weapon options. It plays superb, it looks superb (like Tron-style graphics), and it sounds very well, with a John Carpenter-kind of soundtrack. I am using it on a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 and Android 4.4.2
I do not claim this is the future of games. It is a nice distraction if you have some time to kill, and what it does - it does extremely good.
As a dual-stick shooter a la Gauntlet: I am tempted to give it a 100 of 100 scoring. Its excellent if you take it for what it is.
What I especially liked is that the challenge level is higher. The old game I could get through on highest of three levels relatively comfortable, only rarely I needed to repeat levels. Still, it was pure fun to go on rampage and shoot my way through it when I had some minutes with nothing else to do. This new game now has me repeating levels quite often already on the medium of three levels.
For what it is: highly recommended.

Another very nice game by Radiangames that I would absolutely recommend, also is basing on a classical arcade game design. Fireball. Like Inferno, a nice distraciton to kill some minutes of time.
Radiangames' software needs only very few rights, btw. A plus.
