Try Dragon's version of WoS ........no real nav and a simpler targeting system.

Yes Sir! Tahnk you Sir!

One more question, though: is WOTS compatible with the "all-in-one" Sober's Mega Mod?

Thank you again.

Wolves Of Steel is a mega mod, a bunch of mods that work well together and is very stable, and comes as a package.

Sobers list is again a list of mods which work very well together when installed as per his instructions, but you have to go and download them individually or a better idea is to subscribe to Subsim and Neal will give you access to the bonus mods section where you can download most of the mods on sobers list in one hit.

I personally would not recommend installing WoS then sobers list on top of it! They are two completely different lists, also there are a few mods that are common to both. You would end up with a very thick soup that would cause a few problems I would think.

I use Dragon's version of WoS with a few added mods that have only changed texture files and it seems very stable at the moment.

If I were you I would choose a list say Sobers and try it.....if there are some things you don't like, uninstall and try the WoS vanilla mod, then Dragon's version. There are also others out there to try too. Find a one you like the most and stick with it.

There are far more experienced and qualified folk here on the forums than me by far who may offer better advice than me, but if I were you this is what I would try.

Good Hunting........

Not sure if this would be the right place to ask, but I've just begun playing the Wolves of Steel mod, and as the first mission I'm supposed to either engage or report enemy ships (or so the mission description says so).

So I stumbled upon a task force that spotted my periscope in the calm seas, which resulted in a multi-hour hide n seek about 20 meters from the bottom of the sea. Once I managed to shake them, I resurfaced and sent the contact report, but nothing happened, I have no idea if it actually worked. I locked on both ships during the encounter and ID-ed them, but I have a feeling that I missed something. I'm playing with full realism, so I didn't even determine their position.

So my question is - how exactly would I report enemies properly?

Hi guys. When I try to play the game it says "The Data/library folder doesn't exist. Please rename it back to its original name. Does anyone have a solution to this or has experienced this before?
