Gentlemen, ladies, distinguished lurkers, lunkers and aces of the deep.

For many months, plans have been set into place, personnel mobilized; fortunes, sweat, toil and tears invested... And at long last, the hour is upon us.

Saturday, December the 13th 2014... By the time the sun fades on the western horizon of Texas, your Goldenrivet will be entered into matrimony with a lovely, elegant, classical beauty of a woman many hundreds of fathoms out of his league. My love for her... I cannot measure, and despite a pitiful mess like me failing to deserve it... Her love, in return, I receive as a gift every day.

With each passing hour a curious combination of feelings engulf me. I have the growing desire to both vomit, and laugh with delight. I fear I may do both.

Wish me luck brethren!

:salute:

A couple of things to remember:

1. No man is complete until he is married; after that he is finished

2. When you say "I do", cherish the moment; it is likely to be the last independent decision you make on your own

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials and a long and happy life to the both of you...

Marriage is like a three ringed circus
There is the engagement ring
There is the wedding ring
and then there is the suffering.

Marriage is a wonderful institution.

Personally, I never want to be put in to an institution - regardless of how wonderful it is.

You sir, have found the reason to do so yourself, and for that I wish you and your new bride the happiest day and future possible. May your union be blessed with joy.
