Ahoy!

I've played SH3 a bit but not in years and looking forward to getting back under water:arrgh!: Are there any user made guides or charts that would make for good reading over cofee while taking a break from the real world? I was esp thinking of learning about most economical cruise speeds fro various types.

Oh, I've installed SH4 and the U-boat expanison. (How cool is that!)

Thank you and :subsim:

Wow, I can't believe it's been that long! Makes sense though I had some major changes about then. Glad to see this place is as great as ever!

There are various guides, how-tos' and whatnot, but I learned how to play by playing SHCE, being riddled by Japanese shells, and reading books about the real war. If you played SH3 a lot, you will probably be able to pick up SH4 ok.

About the cruising speeds, ~ 9 kn. for all US fleetboats, and ~ 6.5 for S-class boats. At least with the mods I use.

It is good that you have the latest version of the game. This will save you many headaches.

Good luck, and good hunting! :salute:
