Hello all, I'm a bit new to SH5. A couple questions. Do you have to start a new campaign to see the mods in action? And during a mission when you run out of torpedoes do you have to go all the way back to base (or is it port?) to get more? It would be nice to have unlimited torps or have the refit option available away from port. Thanks.

This will depend on what mods you are going to enable.

Most mods can be enabled when you are docked in the bunker.

A few mods enabled are not compatible with your previous game save and a New Career is needed.

The documentation or when you go to download from Subsim will normally tell you what the situation is.

Refulling and rearming are done in your home port, look for the submarine icon or you can refit in Heligoland.

I do not have an answer to your unlimited torps question but I am sure that someone will know the answer.
