There are holes in the plot for sure :yep:, but the mental giant that wrote the Huff Articles realizes there are two more movies coming right :dead::dead:.

Also it sounds like many more Star Wars Movies ( spin-offs ) are coming, so you can bet that Disney will have a bunch of side stuff that will be expanded in other movies not directly related to this trilogy. Similar to what they have been doing with the Superhero Comics.

I really wish they went with the "Thrawn Trilogy", but they'd have to recast all of the classic characters, as they are too old now and that particular storyline happens 5 years after the Return of the Jedi.:hmph:

For people confused about the First Order, the Knights of Ren, the Sith, the Resistance, and the New Republic:

The First Order: Pretty much what would happen if the Nazis who escaped to Argentina set up their own military.

The Knights of Ren and the Sith: The Knights of Ren are the most prominent Dark Side organisation after the Sith were destroyed at the Battle of Endor.

The Resistance and the New Republic: The New Republic is the new government put in place by the Alliance to Restore the Republic (aka the Rebels). The Resistance are a militia formed in response to the Republic's refusal to deal with the First Order. It's comprised of Galactic Civil War veterans and volunteers from the Republic's citizenry and small military. It is also secretly funded by numerous Republic sources, presumably including Senators opposed to Mon Mothma's demilitarization program and refusal to destroy the First Order.

Well yestday my copy landed on my door mat and today I finally got to watch it and my verdict is this..

The storyline, what storyline as pointed out on here a mish-mash storyline from the previous original films so lets forget that and move on. Is Chewy getting younger will that nice glossy fur?

That trumped up little pip squeeze of a General working for the First Order really was over the top at times and as for the new bad guy in the mask seems to be suffering from PMT!

I must assume Harrison Ford said kill off Solo and I will do the movie. :hmmm:

On the whole it killed a couple of hours and was better than parts 1-3, just hope the next outing is better.

While we are in the Star Wars universe what is everyone thinking about Rouge One?

Finally saw it for the first time yesterday. I enjoyed it for the most part but yeah, so many similarities to the original. Empire Strikes back is still the best of the lot. Will be interesting to see what they have in mind for the next one.

Not Kanon but I love it because it explains why the cargo:rest-of-ship ratio is not of an economically feasable light freighter but that of my car. And you don't call a Clio a van without raising eyebrows.

The main reason for the reshoots is said to Disney disagreeing with Gareth Edwards’ vision, which is supposedly “dark” and it seems like he has made a “war movie.” In a previous interview he had said that “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” would have characters with “grey” morality, as opposed to the traditional characters in the franchise who are either pure good or pure bad.

The main plot of the movie revolves around a group of Rebels attempting to steal the plans for the Death Star. The director teased that the Rebels will have to pay a “heavy price” for their actions, suggesting that not many would survive by the end of the film.

It is being speculated that Disney is not happy with this bleak ending of the movie.

I don't like the sound of this after all what's wrong with a darkish ending. After all we know there sacrifice stealing the Death Star's plans resulted the destruction of the Death Star was not in vain.
