game paused locked

After reinstalling with GWX gold,I looked forward to playing after a long break away.....
Upon commencement of play the screen locks up displaying the message:

'game paused'

Nothing I press seems to unpause the game,this happens in lan multiplayer also.

Can anyone of you guys please help me?

Look in your SH3 folder in "my documents" on your C:\ drive and see if the following is present in the Main.cfg file...

If not you can copy the above and paste it in between the [SETTINGS] and [VIDEO] sections, this should fix the paused game problem.
