So I am back with just the Grey wolves installed. I do have the tail on contact reports installed also.i get a contact report take my ruler and draw his course. I get up in front of the convoy and wait but I hardly ever see them why is that do these convoys change course

You can get their course by plotting their bearings over time. Keep your heading constant and plot their position every, say 3 minutes. Draw your line through the plotting marks you made on the map. That should give you the general course.

There is a mod for hydrophone tracking (actually a separate application) that you enter the bearings into for 4 detections. It then gives you their course.

Another app is called Solution Solver, which is similar.

Patience is the key. You can do it yourself as in the first paragraph. Once you have their course, you can race ahead and wait for them.

Depending on the location in the world, or rather how near to the port, they can change course again after moving around 100km. It's quite variable in GWX 3. So I would not try to get ahead of them, but try to meet them asap instead. Then flank around ahead once I know where exactly they are, and I can follow their every move.

How many km will a ghg or kdb hydro pick up fromUpto 34 km radius if you listen yourself on the hydrophone. The crew seems to be deaf beyond 20km or so.
