Me too! Because we live out "in the sticks", this is a favoured dumping-ground for unwanted pets. I've almost lost count of the number we've had to rescue.

I do not. She assumes that the dogs where dumped it is possiable that they are the offsping of ferral or semi ferral dogs. Even if her assumption is true why bother chastising those who lack a moral compass.

There are decent people and turds in this world the way I see it best just to be who you are dont waste your energy thinking about your antithesis in particular if they fall into the turd catagory. As Buddha said do not accept the gift of anger.

Hey it's all right. Even if the turds are real a bit of public shaming can't hurt but I agree it's likely a waste of time. I'm appalled by how many people I've met who consider dogs and cats as things without feelings to be used and discarded like worn out cloths.

Humans and human interests are still predominant though.

That said just throwing the animals away is a bad practice - they should have looked for selling or gifting those animals to some new owner.

Chances are if a person feels little or no compasion for an animal they probably have similar feelings towards fellow humans. Particularly ones outside their own social economic status.

A little presumptious perhaps but with good intent.

Come across a few schizo woman like this...
Very aggressive towards humans (big issues there), and soo loving towards animals (not a problem here.. just the imbalance is disturbing)

There are other things I notice about them, but this is not my place :03:

I just got through fostering three puppies. The mother was dumped along the road and someone else saw it and rescued it. There was a story up in PA where a woman literally dumped her 5 year old lab in a trash can and left it. After 6 days it was discovered by a worker and somehow survived.

What really angers me is that any animal can be dropped off at a shelter for free. At least it will be given a humane death if necessary.

It has to take a seriously mentally ill person to condemn any animal to a deliberate cruel death. These are the people society needs to be watchful of.

Unfortunately, stories like this are not uncommon in the animal rescue world.

Now you all know how I ended up with 14 cats!

Like Platapus, I can't understand why, if they're going to dump an unwanted animal in a box, they can't at least leave it outside a vet's, or even on someone's doorstep?

Or take it to the Humane Society.
