Noob again

I know it's a stupid question but... after years and a Windows reinstall I came back to SilentHunter, reinstalled the SH5 game and - not remembering much of the game rules - gave it a try. Well I cannot access the sub interior, nor can I dive, like I did in SH3 and SH4 - I am stuck on the bridge and that's all: no command room, no walking inside the sub... I have been searching a little in the topics here but found nothing useful - can you help meto regain access? Thank you :hmm2:

You have to physically walk down the ladder before you can dive. That will also take you to the interior. There are also mods which restore the teleport function, but I can't play the game at all so someone else will have to lead you to those.

Are you playing stock or have you enabled some mods?

Thank you for the helpful hints and links. I am playing stock with internet connection for now, no mods enabled ...in my previous installation before the computer crash I had downloaded and probably (it's years ago) enabled several mods. I will have to check those mods again as it's not very satisfying playing the stock version - apart the graphics :)
