It's almost the beginning of Dec 1939 sunk 1 med size cargo and two coastal freighters. Patrolling off of scapa flow. Had one contact on a small convoy but I have not got around to figuring out how to intercept my contacts yet. Have not ran into no escorts yet. I was wondering by the way what exactly is navigation map contact updates do exactly and when did the happy times campaign more unless come to a end

Map contacts update means that when your crew spots a ship they put it on the map for you. Without this on, you'll have to plot it yourself and put a little x to try to figure out where it is.

Without map contacts, radar is useless. However, some people willingly argue that radar is useless anyway.
