The idea for this thread came from an interesting photograph posted by Mr Jeff-Groves of Nevada, Ohio.
My wife recently came home with a very clever tool: it consists of nothing more than a telescopic rod, to the end of which is attached a small yet powerful magnet and a small, very bright LED. It has been very useful for retrieving things from beneath sofas and beds, such as my old socks and underpants, so indeed not only metal objects can be recovered with this. I'm certain there must be other important uses for it too, perhaps in hospitals.
What is you favourite tool? It does not need to have any medical applications and a photo, if needed, would make it even nicer.

Nice tools, guys, but you know what I'm going to say: they're a bit small (especially no.2) so I'm sure Jeff wouldn't mind us looking at his much larger tool. Jeff says he uses this bad-boy for detecting live cables at home. I'm sure he knows real soon when he's found one. As would the rest of his street.

Here's my favourite tool. I have three flats of bits to go with it as well but just carry one.

I only just enlarged this: is the object shown lying on this grubby handkerchief a Sonic Screwdriver?

I carry one like that, but mine eschews the corkscrew and adds a Phillips screw driver. I would feel naked without my SAK.

My favorite tool? I recon Id say my Leatherman for general handiness. A good pocket knife is always useful so is a metal spoon you can a lot with a metal spoon in a pinch.

If I posted a picture of my favourite tool I'd have to put myself in the brig shortly thereafter.

In your house, you should have two things
1. Glue
2. butter oil
Are the thing lose and it shouldn't be moving- use glue
Are the thing fixed and should be moving- use butter oil

Suggestions from The Bilge are always welcome on my threads; perhaps you guys could help Tango589 out with some more Animal Movie titles on my other, given your particular and unique angle on the world...
