Another question

So I have still been reading and I think I may have messed up. Was I suppose to install sh3 commander before the Grey wolves mod. Also I accidentally missed the install for the sh3 commander for the Grey wolves. Do I need to reinstall all again:wah:

No. Actually SH3 Commander is not a mod but an external tool in which you can adjust a number of in game features. It comes with detailed instructions. :salute:

If you have already installed both you should be ok. As I said SH3 Commander is not a mod but an external tool. It should appear on your desktop as a shortcut once you have installed it. Click on it to open. In the lower left corner you will see a '?' icon. Click on this to see the user guide. You will then use SH3 Commander to launch Sh3 with the Grey Wolves mod.

In order to use SH3 Commander together with the GWX3 mod you DO need to overwrite some config files inside the SH3 Commander folder. Or else funny stuff happens to the campaign and all that. Make sure you execute this and select the SH3 commander install folder if asked:

Hope this little install check list is of help to anyone who uses SH3 with SH3 Commander and GWX3:

1. Install Silent Hunter 3
2. Install patch 1.4b
3. Install GWX
4. Install SH3 Commander
5. Install GWX3_SH3Cdr3.2Files_v1.2[1].exe

Then I install anything else such as:
The files from rld-sh14 (to allow playing without the DVD)
4gb patch,
the SH3_XPSP2_Res_Fix_for_1.4b,
NOTE: The above are well documented in various threads on these forums.
