Must've been awesome to be there when computers started taking off :)

It was mine, but on a UK Joint Forces LAN/WAN system called JOCS - love-hate relationship but got my first glimpse of the CIA Worldbook on it. :D
This was in 2000-01.
It wasn't my first either but I had to use it in a computer class. I can't say that I miss it either.

I remember I used it to navigate to David Letterman's site to see what his latest Top Ten List was.

I've actually only recently thrown out some site magazines - before the search engines you could buy them and they listed interesting sites to visit. Yes, you read that correctly: you typed in the address.
