Not unlike the Michael Fagan incident at Buckingham Palace or Matthias Rust landing a small plane in Red Square. No in-place static defense is impenetrable; Omar J. Gonzalez's blitz into the White House is a lucky-break wakeup call, right along with an alert gunner on the Pakistani frigate...:yep: They are always out there pushn', probin', testin', and occasionally penetratin':o Always had my foot on the hydraulic barricade switch of the garage entrance to a Federal Building Garage- especially after Oklahoma City.

And they shot that poor woman who accidentally rammed the fence with her car!
Chased her down and killed her with great prejudice.
It was a good thing that the kid in the back seat was wearing a bullet proof back pack.:-?

While Nixon was in office a US Army private that had been rejected from flight school stole a Huey UH-1 and actually flew all the way to the White House and landed on the lawn. This was in 1974 he flew from Ft. Meade.
