CRAZY BALDHEADS!

I'm probably going to regret this, but while I was searching online for pictures of Simon Templar's Volvo (which I think rates only just below JB's Aston Martin DB5) I was also wondering what the name was of that baldheaded bloke who always cropped up as a villain back then, also in things like "Danger Man". And yes, his head was an egg.

A bald man on TV or in film back then, unless his name was Yul Brynner, was always a villain... not so now, is it? Who was that bloke (and no, I don't mean Brian Glover)

I remember thinking, as a kid, "He looks like a baby, so why is he so horrible?"

I always thought it was something to do with not being able to get hold of their heads during a fight. When I was a kid the "bad" wrestlers always had crazy bald heads which looked quite hard to keep a hold of.

No, but this was a very good try: I found a picture of this guy too, whilst searching through Danger Man, The Saint and The Prisoner earlier. I'm pretty sure now the crazy baldhead I'm looking for turned up in the latter as well (I can see him in a dark blazer with a white crew-neck jersey).

They seemed to alternate between the bald guy and Bert Kwouk for villainy,
but he's another bowl of noodles...:hmmm:

Now, what you mean u-boat in Portugal? The only ones we got are at the bottom of our shores and the closest one is in Nazaré, the crew scuttle the boat and went to shore surrendering, when the war ended.
Can not remember if they were sent to Germany or delivery to the English has pow.

The guy was very stocky, not tall, had a rather Balkan look about him with rather sharp features: pointed nose, quite narrow eyes, ears a bit pointy as I said before, also very pink head (not tanned at all, no stubble visible anywhere) which looked very white on the screen and was quite pointed too.

There is great craft in what you do. You clearly see the importance of light; that it's everything (your photo "Interior" for example).

Keep getting those pictures, they are an important archive. I especially like the restaurant interiors crowded with people. You seem to have an enviable lifestyle over there in Portugal!
