Hi Guys,
I'm trying to resume SH5 after some years of absence. I enjoy playing as realistic as I can and I'm much impressed by the effort of the last few years. I now tried to install the Wolves of Steel Megamod.
I tried to follow the install script as close as I can and most of it seems te work fine except for one very crucial thing: I'm seeing ships larger than they should in my scope view. I concluded this from trying the RAOBF tutorial with the historical mission with the same name: I measure about 14.6 where it should be 10.6 or so. That means I'm overestemating range by about a factor 1.5! When I use the automation script for range and AOB or the stadimeter I get the correct values, but with the RAOBF my range is always too high.
I tried to install the 16x9 patch but that doesn't cure the problem. I'm a bit clueless where to look next: Could it be that my ships are larger then they should be, or is it the optics that I should look into? Does anybody recognise this issue?
Regards, Frank.
