Hello, new subber here, and I downloaded some mods, with Dark Wraith's latest version of TDC_UI, version 7.4.2. I turn up all the realism settings, but when I go into my attack periscope view, I cannot see the XO and I cannot manually enter data into his little notepad thingy, because I don't know where it is. Does anyone know how to make this guy show up?

Check the icons at the top of the screen and open the little button/s?

The XO can be turned on and off from there.

Thank you very much for that super informative post. :yeah:

I have one other quick question, about using Open Horizons 2.5. When I start my campaign, there is no option to have custom difficulty settings, there is only the option for easy, normal, hard, and realistic. If I use hard settings, manual targeting is turned off, but I still want to have external view, so would rather not choose realistic. Is it possible to play the campaign with custom difficulty settings?

On the 'Main Menu' select 'Options.'

Here you can change your 'Game Play' that you were referring to as well as your 'Sounds' and 'Graphic Settings.'

You can use any of the 'Career' settings and they will go to a default setting in Game Play' options.

You can then customise the settings in 'Game Play' to what you want.

After you have selected your mission and before you start your patrol check that your 'Game Play' settings are still as you left them.
