You don't need to post pics Dice. Most of us older sub simmers know exactly what you're talking about. You have some sort of graphics issue. You may need to adjust the game graphic settings or the graphics card settings. You may also have too little video RAM. Your mod set up may also be the problem. Someone else may be along with another suggestion. Good luck. :salute:

Make sure you install DX 9 from the disc, you can have multiple installs.

Hold on Tharrr Bobba Louie!!

You need to check a couple of things first before thinking a new computer is needed (although the "want" may be greater than the "need").

The below picture is probably what you're seeing:

I encountered this ship (the Ise BB) after running several different mods together combined with the stock game. As you can see, the lower game interface is stock. However the mods caused the issue. Well.......what I mean, the mods and the way JSGME adds/removes them from play.

How?

By disrupting/corrupting the stock ship skin images to the point of not finding them when the call is made to use them to render the ship. Now, don't get me wrong.....mods can have different files that will cause this issue.....but you need to check first if your stock game has missing/corrupt files in it before throwing blame on a mod.

Since your using JSGME, your best choice is to use the feature found in its "Tasks...." menu called "Compare Snapshot". Remove all mods from your game, then allow JSGME to compare the stock original files with the files you presently have. There should be no differences when comparing the files you had when first installing JSGME.....and the ones you have now (except for a few "New" image pictures you may have made while playing the game).

Didn't take an original "Snapshot" of your freshly installed game files???? Before outlaying money for that new computer, you need to learn how to use the one you've got!!:D Follow the instructions found on this forum on how to remove/install your stock game. Follow Armistead's advice by allowing the game to install the DX9c files from the disc when it asks for you to do so during the install wizard. Take that "Snapshot" for future use........just after adding JSGME to your game files. Then re "activate" your mods, one at a time, to see what you get while playing the game between activation's.

With a good "Snapshot" recorded of your original game files, you'll be ready to check your game files for corruption any time you like. Expect it to happen with mods added/removed through JSGME......it happens all the time. That's why JSGME has this feature included in its application.
