Thanks for that....this had me wondering what exactly the object of the exercise was in the film. I was hoping to see how quickly the sail would rise to the surface even if under controlled conditions.

I was hoping to see how quickly the sail would rise to the surface even if under controlled conditions.Better to test the system next to the pier if something doesn't work than to test it out at sea when you need it.:up: I believe it is all a part of the SUBSAFE program. I know my boat had to be recertified on its EMBT blow system twice a year if I remember correctly. They will also do a low pressure blow with the low pressure blower as well, less of a show but still something to see.
