Ok. I have a view questions:
- Where did you install the game?
- Which version of the game do you have (with starforce or without)
- Which mods did you activated? (modlist?)
- Is your rig fast enough?
i have installed in D,Games,SteamLibrary
silent hunter 3 patch v1.4 with grey wolf gold 3.0 mod.
i have activated modes lsh3_v5 and lsh3_v5.1
i have a i3 2.5 ghz,4G memory .windows 7 64bits
GWX 3.0 and LSH3 are both major mods designed to be installed as base mods on SH3 1.4b, and should not be used together.
tthanks for the replys.will try and install the lsh mode only

Right way to do this:
- a stock version, patched to 1,4 or 1,4b
- install lsh5.1
- install the 4GB-patch
- activate "LSH3_V5" -> than start the game and check the museum -> no crash than go ahead
- activate "LSH3_V5.1" -> than start the game and check the museum -> no crash than go ahead
- choose other LSH-mods in usefull combination
- start a new career and don´t change anything until you´re back in base after first patrol
- have fun with LSH

What GPU is inside your rig? Some guys have problems with GPU from nVidia.
