Mod help

Afternoon shipmates. I hae tried in vain to locate a mod I had before that added a later sub ( think it was newer than the Tambor, starting with a "T", in the 1941 era, along with adding the Manilla as a starting point. Does anyone know what mod this is? :wah: Or any mod that adds boats earlier than stock/year and different starting points? Thank you in advance.

The only sub class that starts with a T would be the Tench, which came out later in the war, thinking 44. Other than that, they're no other US sub classes that start with a T.

I know TMO/RSRD have the Tench, but seems there was a mod that you could choose it earlier.

Thank you for the reply. Don't think that was the boat but all is good. I guess what I'm looking for is the boat that had fron and back AA guns, a decent number or torps and good speed. I know the mod said it was early for the actual boat. And it allowed picking Manila as a port.. :o

41 views and no other Silent Hunter 4 boat drivers know of any mods that add beginning (1941) ports? ; p

About the newer boat, I can't add anything beyond what Armistead said, unless you are thinking of Duci's 'Terrible T' campaign. That was about the Tautog, which was a Tambor class boat, that was at Pearl Dec. 7th.

I don't know what you mean about adding Manila. AFAIK, it's already there in all the mods.

Heya Torp. I must be missing the mods with "Man" as a starting point. I had a mod, not more than 8 months ago that had a "modern' sub (for 1941, that had two AA guns) and had an option to start in Manila. I only see Pearl and Asiatic as choices. I know I saw more, including one with the Aleutian Islands as a starting point.:arrgh!:

The Asiatic fleet is Manila at the start, but Manila falls to Japan early war. This is stock and mods. Depending on mods or the type sub you have you can get the option to transfer to the Aleutians. I assume you can in stock, but don't recall, but know you can with TMO and RSRD.
